Nature Calls!!

HAIL CAME DOWN RIGHT AS WE WERE FINISHING OUR FAMILY NATURE WALK.

Poor Liza fell flat on her face running down our driveway after mommy told her not to 3x! Sometime i feel like AIR!!

Malia and Eliza enjoys coming to the stream when we go on our walks, which is very rare but as you can see, they are really excited because its the first time we let them get close the water.


Family Nature Walk!!

After a few days of rain, snow and Hail, my prayers were finally answered when the sun decided to come out and say hello. So we decided that it was natures way of calling us to take a break from the Heater in the house and come out for some fresh washington air. Of course it was still FREEZING LIKE THE HECK!! But, it was good enough for a walk. My inlaws neighbors have a little stream nearby that the girls love to go and throw rocks, and just watch the water flow and hope that they'll see fish, which hasn't happened yet. Theres a lot of land so we like to take the girls and walk down as far as we can go. Usually to get them tired and ready for their NAP! Its a nice walk. Unfortunately, our walk came to an end when we started to feel Hail falling on us. With the sun out hail still finds a way to come down and ruin the day.. it was okay, We got into the house right before it started to come down real hard. For some reason the girls poor cheeks turn red when its cold or warm, must be the sibbett blood cause we are too brown on my side to even see RED cheeks. But the girls discovered their red cheeks today and said, "We need hot cocoa to make our red cheeks go away". I was like "How does Cocoa make your red cheeks go away?" Liza says, "Silly mom, the cocoa burns my stomache then the red goes away" THATS A NEW ONE!! Kids say the darnest things!! we love our nature walks, It makes us think of Hawaii, even if its just a little sunshine its good enough for the soul!! Don't forget, if your cheeks turn red Hot cocoa will help get rid of it!!
